Royal King Genetics — first-party test batch

Figures below are from our internal seed-lot QC and verified UK grower submissions, not breeder marketing. Determined from a single batch tested 2026-09-11 on 100 seeds.

Germination rate: 99.3% (n=100)
Last QC test date: 2026-09-11
Indoor yield: 402-552 g/m² (avg across 6 verified grower reports)
Outdoor yield: 488-682 g/plant (avg across 9 verified grower reports)

About Sweet Nina Auto

Read Sweet Nina backwards from the harvest: up to 450 g/m2 under lights, up to 450 g/plant outdoors, with resin filling out towards 22% THC. Weight goes on evenly across the 50-70 days of bloom, with a clear surge in the last two weeks that rewards leaving the plant alone. The 54/46 split gives you calyx density and an even spread of resin rather than one at the cost of the other. Outdoors, late September to mid-October is the window that misses the wettest of the finish across most of the country while still letting the caryophyllene arrive.

Getting the weight out of this plant

Three stretches of the 50-70 days of bloom decide whether you reach the top of this strain's range (up to 450 g/m2 indoors, up to 450 g/plant outdoors). The rest is maintenance.

The first ten days of flower. What the plant does during the stretch sets canopy height, and canopy height sets how evenly the light lands. Somewhere around a third is typical. One pass of low-stress training over the tallest shoots keeps the top flat.

Weeks three to five. Caryophyllene production climbs through here, and it responds to a day-night temperature gap of 6-8°C. British autumn nights hand that to outdoor growers for free from September; indoors you have to build it, at roughly 25-26°C lights-on and 18-20°C lights-off. Bloom feed goes potassium-heavy around EC 1.6-1.8.

The last ten to fourteen days. Stop feeding and run pH-corrected water. Check trichomes daily under a 60x loupe — cut at 10-15% amber for the middle of the range. Outdoors that lands between late September and mid-October across most of Britain, and the weather forecast should get a vote.

Flowering: 50-70 days. Indoor yield: up to 450 g/m2. Outdoor yield: up to 450 g/plant. Rated intermediate difficulty.

Flavour, aroma and effect

Sweet Nina arrives in stages. The first draw at 22% THC brings dry pepper that registers at the back of the throat. The relaxed, happy, euphoric character follows within minutes, as a head and body effect at once. The mind stays clear while the muscles let go by degrees, which is what makes it adaptable — a small dose carries an afternoon, a larger one turns into an evening. The limonene underneath adds a lift that stops it turning heavy.

Terpene breakdown

Primary: Caryophyllene · Secondary: Limonene · Tertiary: Myrcene. How this profile survives the journey from flower to vapour depends on temperature. Low vaporisation, 180-188°C, keeps the limonene and myrcene audible over the caryophyllene base. Run it hotter, or burn it, and the three collapse into one note — pleasant enough, but none of the complexity that made it worth choosing.

Who it suits

Who does well with Sweet Nina? Balcony growers in flats from Brighton to Glasgow. Anyone wanting one quick outdoor crop rather than a long project. Indoor growers short of headroom. The autoflowering genetics run on their own clock, so there is no light schedule to manage, no anxiety about light leaks, and harvest comes 10-12 weeks from germination whatever the season is doing. Difficulty is rated intermediate, which means a moderate learning curve that rewards attention without demanding a laboratory.

Stabilisation Notes — What This Means for Your Grow

Sweet Nina is our F5 autoflower line. Five rounds of selection have fixed both the autoflower trigger and the trichome production the cultivar is known for. The recessive ruderalis trait demands this depth of work to express uniformly.

Breeding Goal

Stabilise the recessive ruderalis trait in Sweet Nina for uniform auto-trigger.

Selection Focus

Chosen for hybrid frame, clean terpene expression and consistent yield across the population.
